Ghoul Detail started life in 2004 as a two man outfit which quickly fragmented due to creative differences. One half became GDR, focussing on live improvised beat driven industrial experiments. The other half remained as Ghoul Detail; a studio based isolationist, predominantly ambient drone, voyage of self discovery. After 5 years of sonic exploration, 50+ releases on various labels and ongoing collaborations with a variety of artists, the voyage is no closer to its end than it is to its beginning.

IF I ONLY KNEW THE ANSWERS is a collection of reflections... audio memories... captured moments of organic sounds processed, manipulated and filtered so that what remains is as synthetically detatched from its original source as Ghoul Detail is emotionally detatched from the world it inhabits. IF I ONLY KNEW THE ANSWERS, like Ghoul Detail itself, has no answers.
